tl;dr: Costume Clinic @ Mending Mondays, upcoming schedule

Hi All!

This Monday (9/22) is another Costume Clinic session of Mending Monday, so be sure to stop by to plan your project, get advice and ideas, get started, or just hang out with other crafty people and get ready for spooky season!

Suggested donation is $5. Free to members (it's only $15 a month). Of course, members can also come use the space during our open hours on Thursdays and Saturdays, and everyone is welcome to join us for Talk & Tinker Tuesdays!

Plus, Talk & Tinker Tuesday is also a great time to come by to work on any technological parts of your costume, decoration, or completely unrelated project too! We have LEDs in all sorts of colors, battery holders, motors, etc, and I'll be there to help a bit with ideas and (some) electronics knowledge.
October is fast approaching, and so is the 3 year mark for this adventure known as MakeFixHack. Details are still being worked out, but we're planning to have a little get together/celebration for our members, volunteers, and long term supporters, so keep an eye on the newsletter for the announcement.

Also coming up this fall, we'll be participating in Eastworks Open Studios on November 1st and 2nd. It's a great opportunity to introduce our space to the community, but we're going to need your help! Whether you're one of our earliest members or just recently started coming to one of our open sessions, you can help us share what makes our space special. Signups coming soon.
