Hi All!
Our next meetup is on Tuesday 3/5 from 6-8(ish) pm at New City Brewery. We had a good turnout and lots of fun at this weeks Talk & Tinker, and the locksport theme will definitely return again in the future. The next Talk & Tinker event at the co-op (on 5/12) will be back to the general, open-format pop-up hackerspace, but if you have an idea for a theme or topic for a future event, please let us know! The theme nights we’ve done so far have been very popular, have brought out lots of new people, and are always fun!
Our new survey is up at https://makefixhack.org/p/survey.html. It’s just a few questions about what you’re looking/hoping for in a makerspace and will help guide us as we take next big steps and prepare to open a space of our very own. Please take a moment to share your thoughts, feel free to share the link with anyone else you think would be interested, and share it anywhere you think like-minded people might see it. And if you’re into hanging up paper flyers, you can pick some up at the next meetup.
