tl;dr: Next Talk & Tinker Tuesday 2/13 Intro to Locksport, new survey coming soon
Hi all!
Our next Talk & Tinker Meetup is this Tuesday, 2/13 at the Easthampton River Valley Co-op from 6-9. This time we’ll be exploring recreational lockpicking, also known as locksport, so whether you’re just curious or very experienced, come along! We’ll talk about how locks work, basic tools, what locksport is and isn’t, and, of course, have a chance to try it out yourself. I’m not an expert by any means, but it’s a fun hobby that I know other members of our community are also interested in, so I’ll do my best to share what I know. If you have a hobby, skill, or interest that you would like to share, please get in touch! We’re always looking for new ideas to share with our community.
We’re nearing the top of the first hill in the process of becoming an official organization, and things are about to get really exciting, so we’ll be running another survey very soon. Your input is extremely valuable as we move forwards and continue to grow, so keep an eye out for that in the very near future. And if you want to get involved as we build our future, please let us know via email, on Discord, or in person, since there’s always more work to be done!
