Hi all!
Our next meetup is our first ever Seed and Houseplant Swap, on Wednesday 4/24 from 6-7:30 At Forbes Library Northampton in the basement level community room. Come trade plants, seeds, and conversation with your fellow makers. Check out our calendar or the event on Meetup for more information.
Take it Apart Tuesday was a fun and successful (if chaotic, at times) evening at the Co-op. Things shifted direction a little as most of the attendees had specific items they were hoping to repair, so we swapped the general discussion of disassembly for small groups working on repair-oriented disassembly. In the end we fixed a lamp with a loose base, identified the repair path for a complicated swing arm lamp, replaced buttons on a handheld game system, and discovered how complex the inner workings of a "Hatchimal" (Furby-like toy) are.
Upcoming events include our casual social/planning meetups at New City Brewery, Visible Mending/Sashiko, Lockpicking, Home Made Musical Instruments, and general Talk & Tinker events at the Co-op.
