Hi All,
Welcome to the new, monthly MakeFixHack newsletter! Now with more, umm, stuff! This time we'll be featuring some photos of things people made, and we have space for updates from the community, project writeups, maker tips, and more. So if you have something you'd like to share with our community, get in touch!

Updates

We had a great time and an amazing turnout at Eastworks Open Studios earlier this month. We met lots of our creative and artistic neighbors, spread the word about our space, and had many people sign up for this newsletter (Hi and welcome!)
There are even some snacks leftover, so check the bookshelf if you get hungry next time you're here.

I've been working on updating the documentation for our 3d printers to help make them more approachable for beginners, and we have a new, probably less fiddly, 3d printer on the way, plus we're looking at the possibility of adding a more advanced machine to our lineup as well.

Plans are in the works to add another regular member hours session on the weekends starting in 2026, so keep an eye on the website and next month's newsletter.

We're also hoping to find some more member volunteers who are interested in helping out with anything from hanging flyers and social media to running workshops and staffing member hours. email us here or talk to us the next time you're at MFH to get more details.
