tl:dr; CNC & 3d Printer progress, Cultural Chaos, upcoming schedule

Hi All,

Things have ben coming along nicely with the CNC router, as evidenced by the new, bigger, sign above the door, and more to come. Thanks to some shared expertise, two more 3d printers, both dual extruder models, are on their way to becoming fully functional again, and we’re working on our process for sharing slicer settings and profiles to make it easier for our members to get the most out of the machines. And speaking of making use of the equipment, next time you’re in the space, check out the operation guide behind the drill press, too.

Easthampton’s annual art and culture festival, Cottage Street Cultural Chaos, is coming up on Saturday June 14th, and MakeFixHack will be there once again to tell people about our makerspace, show off projects we’ve made, and have a lot of fun getting to know the community. If you’re interested in getting in on the fun, let us know! We’d love to have you join us at the table for a bit to help share the excitement, talk up our new space, and take pictures of our table in action. Even if you can’t spare the time to work the table, definitely come by to say ‘hi’ and let us know what other cool stuff you’re seeing around the event, and if you’ve never been before, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Upcoming Schedule

Be safe and keep making things!
