tl;dr: Next meetup 2/9 @ New City Brewery, request for workshop/class/talk ideas
Hi All,
We’re still working out the schedule for the co-op, so the next meetup will be at New City Brewery on 2/9 from 6-8 pm. They’re on winter hours now so they do close at 8 rather than 9, but it still gives us plenty of time to chat. The following week will likely be a Talk and Tinker at the co-op, but keep an eye on the website and these newsletters for the finalized dates.
As we move towards the next stages of MakeFixHack, we’re looking for ideas for classes, workshops, and/or talks to host (especially once we have our own space), to help increase our reach and gain more interest from the greater community. If you have a skill, interest, or hobby that you would be interested in sharing, please get in touch! You don’t need to be an expert or a seasoned presenter, just have something that you’re into and willing to share. Some ideas in the works include soldering, cyber security basics, jewelry making, a variety of sewing topics, and more.

There are channels for making, repair, bikes, local events, native plants, and so much more. Just say a quick ‘hi’ in the introductions channel when you join to help everyone get to know each other.
