Hi All!
Our next meetup is Talk & Tinker Tuesday on 9/10 from 6-9pm at the Easthampton River Valley Co-op. This is a great time to being out a project you’ve been working on, whether it’s something you’re making, something you want to fix, or something you want to learn to use. Will we be trying to fix a discarded e-scooter, experimenting with programmable LEDs, mending a torn pocket on a utility kilt, or building an EMF field detector? The only way to know is to come by and see for yourself!
This weekend is the Providence, RI maker faire if you’re looking to see some cool projects and creations. And next Saturday is the Northampton Community RePair event at Smith Vocational HS if you have anything that needs fixing. If you know of any other interesting maker/craft/tech type events coming up, let me know and I can share it in the next newsletter.
Are you interested in helping out more with moving MakeFixHack into the future? There are lots of ways to lend a hand. Anything from hanging some flyers to hosting a workshop, taking pictures at events to helping manage our social media. Or even just sharing our events and news with anyone you think might be interested. We’re hoping to have some big news to share soon, and when we do, we’ll definitely be looking for a few extra hands to make the most of it, so definitely get in touch if you’re interested in helping out a bit.
