tl;dr: 3D Printing event tomorrow, Next meetup 6/25 @ New City Brewery, upcoming event ideas
Hi All!
Tomorrow, Saturday 6/22, we’ll be at River Valley Co-op from 4 - 7 pm for our first Intro to 3d Printing & Design meetup. We’ll talk about how to run & maintain a 3d printer, design an object in Tinkercad, and see a number of printers in action. A laptop will be needed to take part in the design portion of this event. Our next meetup is at New City Brewery, on Tuesday 6/25 from 6-9pm. As always, everyone is welcome to join us to talk about projects you’re working on, ideas for upcoming events, and whatever else comes up. Even though we don’t have guaranteed workspace there, sometimes get up to some tinkering, lockpicking, or other shenanigans anyway, so come on out.
We have plans in the works for a new, reoccurring fiber arts event, a soldering session, and the return of other crowd favorite themes, including home-made instruments & lockpicking, so definitely stay tuned to get the latest news. And if you have topic requests, or (especially) ideas for workshops or events you would like to help out with, please reach out through this email, on Discord, or in person at one of our meetups.
